Babysitting Safety Course
This class is designed for young individuals 11–16 years old. Participants will learn the skills of becoming a better babysitter. Topics will include how to provide basic care for infants, toddlers and school-age children, safety and injury prevention, how to choose age-appropriate activities, and how to recognize and handle behavior issues. The course will be taught through a variety of discussions, games and interactive role playing of possible scenarios/ situations while caring for children. If possible, bring your own baby doll to class for practice. Participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the class.
