Group exercise classes are more than the loud music, fast movements and shouts of encouragement that are seen and heard in a fitness room. These-one hour blocks of time offer social inclusion opportunities, physical benefits and psychological support. You should never be bored with the variety of exercise choices offered in group settings. From kickboxing and step aerobics to boot camps and indoor cycling, your fitness instructor will challenge and improve your body. Social Opportunities: You are likely to have more fun exercising in a group than working out on your own. Fitness classes are a wonderful place to meet people who have similar lifestyle goals and needs.

Accountability: A group exercise setting helps keep you accountable to attend the class. When you are asked "where you were last week?" you will not want to say "I sat on the couch"

ZUMBA®- Created by celebrity fitness trainer, "Beto" Perez, ZUMBA says, “Ditch the workout and join the party!” This class is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! ZUMBA utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance. Wednesdays 5:45-6:45 Instructor: Heather Ryan Strength & Toning- Resistance exercise using moderate weights and frequent repetitions, followed quickly by another burst of exercise targeting a different muscle group.
